Six rescue dogs line up shoulder to shoulder across a whitewashed board — a scruffy terrier, a tongue-out hound, a spotted mutt, a shaggy wheaten, a black-and-tan shepherd mix and a floppy-eared beagle, all with their paws hooked over the bottom rail. “MY FAVORITE BREED” arches overhead in deep red and black capitals, “IS” sits on a small painted banner between two hearts, and “RESCUED” runs across a black panel along the bottom. Paw prints and hand-painted flourishes fill the corners.
